By downloading or using Planora, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Planora is an iOS travel planning app that lets you create trips, organize an agenda, activities, a budget, preparation lists, an encrypted personal journal, end-to-end encrypted chat, end-to-end encrypted profile photos, and collaborate with other participants.
You are responsible for:
Planora offers several sign-in methods, including email/password and Sign in with Apple. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
A trip can contain an agenda, activities, preparation lists, a budget, formalities, a journal, encrypted chat, private documents, document requests, and a map. Participants see content according to the visibility you set (shared, private, or custom).
The trip organizer has broader permissions than other members. Each user is responsible for the content they add or share within a trip.
Invitation codes, QR codes, and links are intended for people you authorize to join your trip. Avoid sharing codes publicly. You can regenerate the code from the trip settings. Invitations may be limited by time and number of uses.
Planora offers a single in-app purchase, Planora Pro, which unlocks creating or joining multiple trips, the shared budget, the encrypted journal, secure documents, encrypted chat, weather forecasts, and exchange rates. Your first trip always remains free without any purchase.
This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: there is no automatic renewal and no recurring charge. The purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store and tied to your Apple ID; it can be restored on any device signed into the same Apple ID. Refund requests must be made directly to Apple, in accordance with its in-app purchase refund policy.
You are solely responsible for the content you create, upload, or share in Planora (text, photos, documents, messages). You agree not to use the app to:
You can report a received message, block a participant, and, if you are the organizer, remove a participant from the trip. Because chat is end-to-end encrypted, message text is sent to Planora for moderation only after you select it and explicitly consent. Abusive reports may be rejected.
The Planora app, its design, code, and trademarks are the exclusive property of their author. No license is granted beyond personal use of the app. Content you create within the app remains your property.
Use of Planora is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes data collected, its use, end-to-end encryption, and your rights. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Planora is provided as-is and on a best-effort basis. Interruptions, bugs, or maintenance may occur without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Locally stored encrypted documents may be lost if the app is deleted or the device is lost without a backup.
Planora is a trip organization tool. It does not replace:
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Planora's liability is excluded for indirect damages, data loss, or service interruptions.
You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Planora reserves the right to suspend or close an account in the event of a serious breach of these Terms.
You can export your personal data and delete your account from within the app. Deletion is automatic: personal trips are deleted, shared trips you organize are transferred to an eligible editor, and your personal content is removed from other shared trips.
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, French courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory provisions applicable in your country of residence.
These Terms may be updated as the app's features, legal obligations, or practices evolve. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. For significant changes, a notice will appear in the app.
